  • Frontier Frontier Airlines announced that it is launching new nonstop service to Bismarck, N.D. (BIS) from its Denver International Airport (DEN) hub, marking a record 67 nonstop destinations served by the airline from Denver.

The new Bismarck service begins May 17, 2012, with five weekly flights. Frontier is celebrating the new service with low introductory fares starting at $60* each way (taxes and fees included) available at FrontierAirlines.com.

“This is a significant milestone for both Frontier and the city of Denver”

“This is a significant milestone for both Frontier and the city of Denver,” said David Siegel, Frontier’s president and CEO. “As the largest low-fare carrier at Denver International Airport, we bring more low-cost, nonstop flight options in and out of the city than any other carrier. We look forward to working with the city and state to further increase the number of destinations served by Frontier.”

"Frontier’s continued commitment to its hometown has a significant economic impact on the Denver metro region," said Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock. “Having a low-cost carrier based in our city, providing nonstop flights to more destinations, helps to make Denver a world-class destination to live, work and play"

In just the month of February, Frontier added six new nonstop destinations to its route map. In addition to the nonstop service to Bismarck, Frontier added nonstop flights from Denver to Bloomington/Normal, Ill. (BMI) and Cedar Rapids, Iowa (CID), along with seasonal nonstop service to Bellingham, Wash. (BLI), Great Falls, Mont. (GTF) and Harrisburg, Pa. (MDT).

Following is the schedule for the new nonstop service to Bismarck:
