New Jersey Hotel To Pay $150,000 To Settle Charges Of False Ads

The ads said luxurious, but the reality was rundown, and the alleged deception will cost the owner of a Wildwood Crest hotel more than $150,000. The Diamond Beach Resort and the Grand Hotel of Wildwood Crest Inc., along with owner John Patitucci, agreed to pay $125,000 in penalties and more than $25,000 in consumer restitution to settle charges brought by state regulators.
