Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacifico Reports Passenger Traffic Decrease of 4.5% for February 2010

  • Airline News Resource During February 2010, total terminal passengers decreased 4.5% compared to the previous year; domestic passenger traffic decreased 6.0%, while international passenger traffic decreased 2.4% compared to February 2009.


    Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) announced today preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of February 2010 compared to traffic figures for February 2009.

    In terms of February’s material events, VivaAerobus began to operate the Guadalajara – Cancún route, which Company’s believes will benefit domestic traffic moving forward.

    Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (GAP) operates twelve airports throughout Mexico’s Pacific region, including the major cities of Guadalajara and Tijuana, the four tourist destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz and Manzanillo, and six other mid-sized cities: Hermosillo, Guanajuato, Morelia, Aguascalientes, Mexicali and Los Mochis. In February 2006, GAP’s shares were listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “PAC” and on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “GAP”.
