Last year's first-ever Asia cruise from Hong Kong to Singapore sold out in record time. "Our first all-gay Asia cruise was such an incredible success that we've created a brand new sailing experience to complement the original itinerary, this time visiting the most beautiful cities in northern Asia," said Rich Campbell, Atlantis CEO.
Atlantis' newest cruise sails from Shanghai, home to Expo 2010, on March 20, 2010, on the five-star, 684-passenger Azamara Quest. The 10-day cruise will make stops in Busan, South Korea; Hiroshima, Osaka, and Kagoshima, Japan; Taipei, Taiwan; and Hong Kong. The cruise will overnight in Osaka allowing guests ample time to visit Kyoto, a city filled with thousands of temples, gardens, palaces and cherry blossoms. There's also a long stay in Taipei, Taiwan's largest city with ancient temples, soaring skyscrapers and fantastic gay-friendly nightlife.
"Our 2009 Hong Kong to Singapore cruise was such a success that our guests asked for more exotic options to Asia, and we're thrilled to bring them this historic offering," said Campbell. "We're bringing all the camaraderie, entertainment and fun of an Atlantis cruise to some of the most intriguing and colorful destinations in the world."
Staterooms on the Shanghai to Hong Kong cruise start at just $1799**. Rates are per person based on double occupancy and include all of Azamara's deluxe accommodations and services in addition to Atlantis' signature entertainment, parties and activities.
Continuing the journey, Atlantis will also offer a new Hong Kong to Singapore cruise on the Azamara Quest.
